Festival of Tolerance Zagreb proudly announces and invites all of you to join the program “Jewish Culture in Europe: Berlin – Vienna – Prague”, which will be opened on Wednesday, February 19th, at 19 PM, at the Goethe-Institut, Vukovarska 64, Zagreb.

At the opening ceremony, along with prominent guests such as Dan Fischman from the Jewish Museum in Vienna, Michael Frankl from the Jewish Museum in Prague, Valentina Marcenara from the Dresden Jewish Music and Theatre week and Hermann Simon, Ph.D., from the “Stiftung Neue Synagoge Berlin – Centrum Judaicum” foundation, also participates Nataša Popović, the director of the Festival of Tolerance – Zagreb Jewish Film Festival.

Program whose aim is to points out the diversity of the Jewish culture in Berlin, Vienna and Prague is organized by the Jewish Community “Bet Israel” of Croatia, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Zagreb, the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Zagreb, the Embassy of the Republic of Austria in Zagreb, the Austrian Cultural Forum in Zagreb and the Goethe-Institut Kroatien.

Events in Zagreb, during February, March and April, 2014, are held under the patronage of the Council for National Minorities of the Republic of Croatia.
