BOGDAN NORBERT TRIO (HU) @ SWANKY MINT HOSTEL  (Ilica 50 Street)

Norbert Bogdan, a 24-year-old guitar talent from Nagykanizsa, has gathered two more musicians – Béla Rózsa, also a guitarist, and Tibor Szénási, an accordionist, and formed a trio whose performances leave no one untouched! These self-taught musicians met each other at the Snétberger Music Talent Center (Snétberger Zenei Tehetségközpont), founded by Ferenc Snétberger, a guitar virtuoso of Romani origin educated at the Budapest Music Academy. The aim of the Center is to provide support to young talented Roma, who already have certain knowledge, and enable them to further improve under the expert guidance and introduce them with jazz and classical music.

Music of Bogdan Norbert trio is a melodic, unique mixture of Boyash, Kolompar, and Romungro Roma traditions from their own collection and jazz, supplemented with tunes of Balkan origin.

Their performance is organized in cooperation with the Hungarian Institute in Zagreb.

The concert starts at 9 PM.

SCHLACHTHOFBRONX (DE) @ KLUB (Pavla Hatza 16 Street)

WHATEVEREST DJs (Anto Anto & Indy) + PHILLIPE (CFSN)

The Munich bass duo Schlachthofbronx, consisting of Benedikt and Jakob, has cooperated with numerous well-known names of the Global Bass scene, such as Major Lazer and Buraka Som Sistema, with singers from Mali and Costa Rica, Bavarian brass bands, and South-African rappers, and in 2010 they followed M.I.A. on her European tour, as well as many other artists on their tours, from the USA, Canada, and Mexico, all the way to Russia and South African Republic. After two studio albums and countless EPs, singles, and remixes, last year they published their third studio album Rave and Romance, outlining the unique diversity of their sound.

Known for their equally good performances in clubs and on festival stages, in small clubs of Bavarian towns and in carnival parades, on ships and in strip clubs, they will surely make us dance with their remixes of different genres; Dancehall/Reggae, Hip hop, Techno, Cumbia, UK bass… Their music has been released on Diplo’s Mad Decent, famous Man recordings and Disco B up to Modeselektor’s Monkeytown.

Their performance is organized in cooperation with the German Embassy.

Supporting them at this performance, our well known Whateverest DJs (Anto Anto & Indy) phillipe (CFSN)
