As a part of the program of 9th Festival of Tolerance, on Friday April 10th 2015, Glyptotheque HAZU (Gallery IV) will host two photo exhibition openings, seemingly different, but with common messages about building trust and acceptance, with the purpose of creating a tolerant society.

‘Prince Soniyiki – integration of a refugee into Croatian society’ is a photo essay by the photographer Nena Lukin about Prince Wale Soniyiki from Nigeria and the process of getting an asylum in Croatia and his life in a new country. This exhibition is organized in co-operation with the UNHCR Croatia.

‘Intercultural encounters’ is the exhibition of photo-contest photographs, held with the purpose of developing an intercultural dialogue, building peace between individuals and institutions, cultures and nations and is organized in co-operation with the AKF.

Next day, Saturday April 11th 2015, we have another photo exhibition opening, in the Italian Institute for Culture in Zagreb.

‘Intolerance Zero’ by the photographer Donata Pizzi shows photographs of places where hate crimes were committed all over the world, and with these photographs the author is giving back the voice to those who lost it.

You can find more information on the exhibitions on our web pages, under the ‘Thematic exhibitions’ tab.
